PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for ensuring reliable discrimination in the combustion chamber of an otto engine and for discriminating preignition.SOLUTION: In a method for discriminating the preignition in an otto engine, which occurs irrespective of ignition of a fuel-air air mixture by means of an ignition plug in the combustion chamber of the otto engine, the method is characterized in that a combustion chamber pressure (p) generated before or after ignition time of the ignition plug is evaluated for discriminating the preignition. |
