PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing with an aligning ring which increases a rated load of the bearing without compromising alignment performance and consequently improves service life of the bearing.SOLUTION: This rolling bearing 1 with an aligning ring has: an inner ring 10; an outer ring 20 which has an outer peripheral surface 20a having a spherical cross sectional shape; two or more rolling elements 30 arranged between the outer peripheral surface 10a of the inner ring 10 and the inner peripheral surface 20b of the outer ring 20; and the aligning ring 40 having an inner peripheral surface 40a in sliding contact with the outer peripheral surface 20a of the outer ring 20. A first step part 21, having a gap with and limiting the movement of the aligning ring 40 in the rotation axis direction, is arranged on the outer peripheral surface 20a of the outer ring 20 being formed in a spherical surface shape. A second step part 41, formed in a spherical surface shape corresponding to the first step part 21, is arranged on the inner peripheral surface 40a of the aligning ring 40. |
