PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine enabling reduction in uneven rotation and unbalanced force in a rotor.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine includes a stator 6 and a rotor 4 installed on the inner side of the stator 6 so as to be rotatable by a rotating shaft 5. Magnetic poles 10 which are formed of a rotor core 2 having laminated magnetic steel sheets, are excited by permanent magnets 3 respectively stored in a plurality of gaps 9 installed in the circumferential direction at portions on the outer peripheral side of the rotor core 2 and have polarities alternately different from each other are disposed on the outer periphery of the rotor 4. Short circuit magnetic paths 11 each interconnecting at least one set of magnetic pole pieces forming each magnetic pole 10 within the same laminate plane and projections 12 each coming into contact with the inner peripheral side of the permanent magnet 3 between magnetic pole pieces 10b which are not connected with the short circuit magnetic paths 11 are arranged at portions on the inner peripheral side of the rotor core 2. |
