PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder type linear driving device that achieves a large driving force.SOLUTION: A cylinder type linear driving device includes: a soft magnetic body cylinder; a plurality of annular ring shaped magnetic poles whose outsides are fixed to the inside of the cylinder and which are disposed by a predetermined center-to-center distance; exciting coils respectively attached to between the magnetic poles; a device configured so that the outside of each of soft magnetic body columns having a width that is two times the width of each of the magnetic poles and being spaced apart by the magnetic pole is opposed to the inner periphery of each of the magnetic poles with a slight gap interposed therebetween, and so that the soft magnetic body columns are mutually slidable axially; and an energization control circuit that generates a relative axial driving force between the magnetic poles and the soft magnetic body columns by energizing the corresponding exciting coil with detection signals obtained by detecting relative positions of the magnetic poles and the soft magnetic body columns or with electric signals obtained in a set order. |
