PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of improving a noise performance without increasing the number of ground pins while achieving reduction of manufacturing costs, and to provide a shield case used for the connector.SOLUTION: A connector 1 comprises a box-shaped connector housing 10 and a conductive shield case 20. The connector housing 10 houses a light emission side FOT 50 having housing side ground pins 51B and a light receiving side FOT 60 having a housing side ground pins 61B. In the shield case 20, a plurality of case side ground pins 22 are provided. Among the plurality of case side ground pins 22, at least one case side ground pin 100 is provided on an edge side of a side wall 21, and includes an overhang part 120 extending toward the housing side ground pin 61B. The overhang part 120 is conductively connected to the housing side ground pin 61B in a state that the connector 1 is attached to a substrate 2. |
