PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for processing cutting lines of a plate-like object, by means of which the plate-like material can be cut with good dimensional accuracy, and to provide an apparatus and method for producing a glass plate.SOLUTION: Information representing a distance between two lines or a length of a cut glass plate Gin the transfer direction, imaged by electronic cameras 104A, 104B, is outputted to a control device 24. The control device 24 compares the distance or the length with a prestored reference value, and searches change amount of the distance or the length. Then the control device 24 changes the traveling speed of a cutter 20 by controlling a servomotor 22 based on the change amount. |
