PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch device which can prevent deformation of a latch body, a guide lever and the like even when a locked striker is forcibly pulled out.SOLUTION: A latch device includes a latch body 15 which locks a striker, an energizing spring 13 which energizes the latch body 15 toward a lock release position, and a guide lever 14 which slides along a circulation cam groove of the latch body 15. The guide lever 14 includes trace parts 14a, 14b, tilting parts 14c, 14d which tilt following the trace parts 14a, 14b, first bent parts 14e, 14f which are twisted in accordance with the tilting of the tilting parts 14c, 14d, and a second bent part 14g which extends in a direction different from that of the first bent parts 14e, 14f and is twisted following the tilting parts 14c, 14d when the tilting parts 14c, 14d are expanded in a direction where the trace parts 14a, 14b exit from the circulation cam groove. |
