The pressure accumulator (2) has piston (10) that is arranged in a housing cavity (8) of housing (6). The piston is displaceable from first end position to second end position by pressurization of a reservoir chamber (18) with pressure medium against the force of a spring element (22). A locking device (4) is provided to lock the piston in the second end position. The locking device is provided with locking pipe (32) which is connected with the piston. The locking pipe at the reservoir chamber is locked by a locking pin (36).
