PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generation method for a gas hydrate reaction product efficiently performing a reaction in a gas hydrate.SOLUTION: A generation method for a gas hydrate reaction product includes: a process of preparing a gas hydrate (G) having a crystal structure in which the water molecules clathrates the guest molecules; and a process of generating a reaction product of the gas hydrate (G) by irradiating the gas hydrate (G) with the ultraviolet light (L) emitted from a light source (120). Preferably, the light source (120) includes an excimer lamp.
