PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid photocurable resin composition whose portions which no light has struck on can be cured when the composition is irradiated and cured with light, without using a metallocene complex and carrying out a light irradiation step before casting and coating, and which can provide a cured material having high transparency by curing; and to provide an image display device using the same, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A liquid photocurable resin composition contains an ethylenically unsaturated bond-containing component (1) containing a polymer (A) having a methacryloyl group on its side chain, and a photopolymerization initiator (2), wherein the photopolymerization initiator (2) exhibits a maximum absorption wavelength in the range of 370 to 420 nm.
