PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire 2 capable of avoiding electric failure.SOLUTION: A tire 2 has a tread 4 and a pair of side parts 6. The tread 4 has a base layer 22 and a cap layer 24. The cap layer 24 has a first body 26a located at one end 30a side of the base layer 22, a second body 26b located at the other end 30b side of the base layer 22, and a skin layer 28 extending in an axial direction. A part of the skin layer 28 is sandwiched between the first body 26a and the second body 26b. The other one part of the skin layer 28 is sandwiched between the second body 26b and the base layer 22. The skin layer 28 forms a part of a tread surface 18 of the tread 4 between the first body 26a and the second body 26b. The skin layer 28 comprises one constituted by applying electroplating to a surface of a film. The side parts 6 have electrically conductive paths electrically connecting the skin layer 28 and the rims in which the tire 2 is mounted. |
