PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce crosstalk between left-eye and right-eye images without lowering the brightness of video and thereby improve visibility.SOLUTION: A stereoscopic image display device 110 comprises: a data acquisition unit 150 which acquires left-eye video data and right-eye video data; a video generation unit 154 which generates sequential data consisting of alternately arranged rows of a left-eye video data string consisting of the left-eye video data which is repeated a predetermined number of times and a right-eye video data string consisting of the acquired right-eye video data which is repeated a predetermined number of times and also generates a control signal to control a shutter eyeglass to open or close it on the basis of the sequential data; and a picture quality reducing unit 156 which performs picture quality reducing process on target data which is among sequential data the frame data corresponding to one or both of frames before and after switching of the left-eye video data and the right-eye video data. |
