The motherboard, the indicator control board, and the status indicator unit are connected in series. The motherboard outputs a first control signal and a second control signal according to an operational status of an electronic device. The indicator control board determines the operational status of the electronic device according to the first and second control signals, and controls operation of the status indicator unit according to the determined operational status of the electronic device.
