This fuel cell system is provided with: a control valve, which controls pressure of an anode gas to be supplied to a fuel cell; a power controller, which is electrically connected to the fuel cell, and which controls output of the fuel cell on the basis of a requested power generation quantity to the fuel cell; a pulsation operation control unit, which increases pressure of the anode gas in the downstream of the control valve corresponding to the requested power generation quantity to the fuel cell, and which periodically increases/reduces the pressure; and an output control unit, which limits output of the fuel cell when the requested power generation quantity to the fuel cell is reduced, said output being set by means of the power controller. |
