In order to minimize increases in signal volume resulting from the repeated transition to a preservation state and return to an active state when a plurality of applications are operating independently, a mobile station (UE) according to the present invention is provided with: a management unit (12) that manages the transmission timing of periodic data that is not associated with a user operation in each of a plurality of applications (#1-#N); and a transmission unit (13) that transmits an RRC connection request to a wireless access network when the mobile station (UE) transitions from the preservation state to the active state. The transmission unit (13) is configured to adjust the transmission timing of an RRC connection request on the basis of the transmission timing of periodic data that is not associated with a user operation in each of the plurality of applications (#1-#N). |
