PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of safely storing a memory card.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus allows the use of a memory card 32 including a housing 32a with built-in memory element and a terminal part 32b exposed from the housing 32a. The image forming apparatus includes a memory card storage section 30 which is provided in an apparatus body of the image forming apparatus and has a recess formed to store the memory card 32, and an outer cover 4 which is detachably provided to the apparatus body and covers the memory card storage section 30. In the memory card storage section 30, at least one part of the memory card 32 in contact with the housing 32a is electrically connected to a ground of the apparatus body when the memory card 32 is stored. |
