PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide method for determining proper drying end time with a simple method when wet powder is dried by using a batch ventilation type dryer.SOLUTION: A method is for determining drying end time of powder when powder is dried by using a batch ventilation type dryer. When a value of f represented by the formula is equal to or lower than a predetermined value, the value is set as the drying end time. In the following formula, &Dgr;His evaporation latent heat (unit: kJ/kg) of liquid included in powder, Fis an evaporation speed (unit: kg/h) of the liquid included in the powder, W is dry weight (unit: kg) of the powder, Cps is specific heat (unit: kJ/kg/°C) in the dry state of the powder, and dTm/dt (unit: °C/h) is a change of a power temperature (Tm) (unit: °C) of the dryer. |
