PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof construction for cameras allowing a user to easily rotatingly operate a zoom ring of a lens barrel.SOLUTION: In a waterproof case for cameras according to the present invention, a case body 39 for storing a lens barrel 2 includes: a fixed cylindrical member 31 being detachable/attachable with respect to a camera body 1; a rotary cylindrical member 32 relatively rotatably connected to a front opening part of the fixed cylindrical member 31; and a movable cylindrical member 9 stored inside the rotary cylindrical member 32 and capable of reciprocating. The fixed cylindrical member 31 has a first seal part at a joining part with the camera body 1, a second seal part is provided at a joining part between the fixed cylindrical member 31 and the rotary cylindrical member 32, and a third seal part is provided at a joining part between the rotary cylindrical member 32 and the movable cylindrical member 9. An inner peripheral surface of the rotary cylindrical member 32 has an engagement face 37 coming into contact with an outer peripheral surface of a zoom ring of the lens barrel 2. A cam mechanism for converting the rotation of the rotary cylindrical member 32 into reciprocating movement of the movable cylindrical member 9 is interposed between the rotary cylindrical member 32 and the movable cylindrical member 9. |
