摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a composition of a reformed fuel constant, and in addition, to enable cooling power of a combustion chamber by thermal decomposition of a fuel and a produced amount of the reformed fuel to be separately controlled in a scram jet engine which thermally decomposes the fuel by heat from the combustion chamber to produce the reformed fuel and burns the reformed fuel in the combustion chamber.SOLUTION: A fuel supply system 15 includes: a fuel reforming unit 60 in which a first hydrocarbon fuel 73 and a second hydrocarbon fuel 74 are thermally decomposed by heat from a combustion chamber 40 of a scram jet engine 11 to produce a reformed fuel 79 and which cools the combustion chamber 40; a first flow regulating valve 75 for regulating an amount of the first hydrocarbon fuel 73 supplied to the fuel reforming unit 60; and a second flow regulating valve 76 for regulating an amount of the second hydrocarbon fuel 74 supplied to the fuel reforming unit 60. The reformed fuel 79 burns in the combustion chamber 40. The fuel reforming unit 60 includes zeolite-based catalysts 83, 84 and 85.
