Provided are a wave spring and a load-adjustment method therefor which are capable of freely adjusting a spring constant ratio. A wave spring (100), in which a high peak section (111) and a low peak section (112) configure one combination (110), and the combination (110) is repeatedly formed in the circumferential direction. A valley section (113) is formed between the peak sections (111, 112). The intervals between peak sections are set so as to be identical in conventional wave-spring designs; hence, only a specific value (value represented by plot (○)) could be obtained for the spring constant ratio (K1/K2). However, the design of this wave spring (100) makes it possible to change the pitch angle (A) of the high peak section (111) and the pitch angle (B) of the low peak section (112) in one combination (110); hence, it is possible to freely adjust the spring constant ratio (K1/K2). |
