PROCESS FOR PURIFYING TAIL GAS FROM ORE-SMELTING ELECTRICAL FURNACE BY CATALYTIC OXIDIZATION

Disclosed is a process for purifying tail gas from an ore-smelting electrical furnace by catalytic oxidization, the process comprising: first immersing a catalyst carrier in an immersing solution, then aging, calcinating, and finally drying, so as to prepare a highly effective catalyst; then washing the tail gas from an ore-smelting electrical furnace with an aqueous alkali-containing solution, pre-heating the alkali-washed tail gas by elevating temperature; and adjusting the oxygen volume content in the tail gas, charging the tail gas at a certain speed, purifying on a catalytic oxidization fixed bed containing the highly effective catalyst, cooling the purified gas, so as to obtain a raw material gas for carbon chemical industry.
