The present invention relates to a pearl gloss paint having an entirely or partially parabolic path of refraction, and to a method for manufacturing same, and, more particularly, to a pearl gloss paint having a coating layer formed on a base surface and having a refractive index that increases in the thickness direction. Further, the method for manufacturing the pearl gloss paint comprises: a step of introducing ultrapure water, an electrolyte, and a base into a reactor in which a current flows between an agitator rod and an inner wall; a step of continuously and simultaneously feeding a metal-oxide precursor solution having a low refractive index and a metal-oxide precursor solution having a high refractive index into the reactor, gradually reducing the concentration of the metal-oxide precursor solution having a low refractive index, and feeding in the metal-oxide precursor solution having a high refractive index such that the concentration thereof gradually increases; a step of forming a metal-oxide coating layer having a refractive index gradient by continuously coating the base surface with a metal-oxide produced by hydrolyzing the metal-oxide precursor having a low refractive index and the metal-oxide precursor having a high refractive index; and a step of heat-treating the base on which the metal-oxide coating layer is formed. The pearl gloss paint of the present invention enables the manufacture of a highly luminous pearl gloss paint that surpasses the limited gloss quality of existing pearl gloss paints due to diffraction limitations, the control of the length of an optical path by changing the composition of a coating layer instead of the thickness of the coating layer so as to reduce processing time and the amount of raw materials consumed by means of a simple structure, and the manufacture of a pearl gloss paint that has pronounced dichromatic effects.
|
