PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel ultrasonic flowmeter device.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic flowmeter device measures a flow rate of fluid flowing through a flow path using an ultrasonic wave and is equipped with ultrasonic transducers 1, 2 contactlessly mounted on the flow path. A propagation time difference is computed from reception signals of the ultrasonic transducers 1, 2 and an average flow rate is computed from the propagation time difference. The propagation time difference is computed by means of either a computation method based on the cross-correlation function, a computation method based on phase difference detection, or a computation method based on zero-crossings. As for the reception signals of the ultrasonic transducers 1, 2, it is preferable to identify portions of signals that have passed through the fluid. |
