PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for identifying an accurate position by calibrating a self-contained sensor without depending on a GPS and a magnetic sensor, in a technique for positioning in real time.SOLUTION: A positioning system comprises: a mobile phone 4; a ticket gate machine whose absolute position is known; and a housing of the ticket gate machine for regulating a traveling direction of a user in a reference direction. The mobile phone 4 comprises: a non-contact IC card part for acquiring individual information of the ticket gate machine; a position identifying part 473 for identifying an absolute position of the user by acquiring the absolute position of the ticket gate machine according to the individual information; an acceleration sensor 425 for detecting an acceleration; an angular velocity sensor 426 for detecting an angular velocity; a calibration part 470 for calibrating the acceleration sensor 425 and the angular velocity sensor 426 according to their detection results when the mobile phone 4 is substantially stationary; and a direction identifying part 471 for identifying a direction, according to measured values of the acceleration sensor 425 and the angular velocity sensor 426 when the housing regulates the traveling direction of the user in the reference direction. |
