PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method in which the blur of an image is suppressed and which can obtain an image high in image density.SOLUTION: In an image recording method which supplies an image recording composition on an intermediate transfer body, and transfers a layer to be cured to a recording medium after a droplet of an aqueous ink is discharged to the layer to be cured after forming the layer to be cured, the method uses an image recording composition containing a curable substance, a water absorption component, and a substance having surfactant action, and also uses a non-curable aqueous ink containing an aqueous medium, a coloring agent, and a surfactant whose difference (absolute value) in balance (HLB) between a hydrophilic group and a hydrophobic group with respect to the substance having the surfactant action contained in the image recording composition is not smaller than 3 and not larger than 10. |
