PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound generating device, even a performance in the air where reaction is unusable, capable of producing sound as if a player plays by a roll rendition.SOLUTION: A musical sound generating device includes: a stick part operated by a player; a motion sensor part that detects movement of the stick part based on a performance operation of the player; a rendition determination part that determines whether a rendition of the player is a roll rendition or not on the basis of the movement of the stick part detected by the motion sensor part; and a sound production control part that gives a sound production instruction to sound producing means that produces prescribed musical sound corresponding to the movement of the stick part detected by the motion sensor part and the rendition determined by the rendition determination part. |
