PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backup roll bearing device configured to easily adjust a roll outer-diameter height of the backup roll bearing device arranged and capable of reducing cost and man-hours.SOLUTION: A backup roll bearing device includes a plurality of bearings interposed between a roll 1 and a shaft 2, and supporting portions 5 provided at both ends of the shaft 2 and supported by a housing 6. An axial center L1 of each of the supporting portions 5 of the shaft 2 is decentered with respect to an axial center L2 of a raceway surface portion 2a where a bearing of the shaft 2 interposed, and the shaft 2 is rotated with respect to the housing 6. A roll outer-diameter height H can be changed, which is a height from a peripheral position of the shaft 2 with a load supported by the housing 6 to an outer diameter surface of the roll 1 on a side opposite a diametrical direction. |
