PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device that can notify a user who uses the information processing device through an external device of a usage method of the information processing device.SOLUTION: When printing data received from a portable device 2 is not transmitted within a predetermined time period after reception of a command to execute print processing based on the printing data, a multifunction machine 1 determines that the portable device 2 is in a state not capable of communications. When read data obtained from an original by scan processing whose execution has been commanded cannot be transmitted to the portable device 2, the multifunction machine 1 determines that the portable device 2 is in a state not capable of communications. When it is determined that the portable device 2 is in a state not capable of communications, the multifunction machine 1 displays a notification screen notifying a user that an application needs to be installed to use the multifunction machine 1. |
