[Problem] In a zoom lens for projection, the reduction side has a telecentric configuration, and a small F number, a wide field of view, a high zoom ratio, and excellent optical performance are all achieved while inhibiting the size of the optical system from becoming big. [Solution] A zoom lens for projection comprising, in the following order from the magnification side, a negative first lens group (G1), a positive second lens group (G2), a positive third lens group (G3), a negative fourth lens group (G4), a positive fifth lens group (G5), and a positive sixth lens group (G6). When the magnification is being changed, the first lens group (G1) and the sixth lens group (G6) are secured and the second lens group (G2) to the fifth lens group (G5) move. The reduction side has a telecentric configuration. The first to the fourth lenses of the fifth lens group (G5) from the magnification side are a negative meniscus-shaped single lens in which the convex surface faces the magnification side, a positive single lens, a double-concave lens, and a double-convex lens, and the double-concave lens and the double convex lens are joined. |
