<p>The present invention provides a system, an apparatus, and a method for triggering a roaming MTC device. The system comprises: an MTC external interface function entity of a home network and an MTC external interface function entity of a visited network. The MTC external interface function entity of the home network is set to receive registration information reported by a roaming MTC device, and upon receiving a trigger request message from the roaming MTC device, send the trigger request message to the MTC external interface function entity of the visited network according to the registration information; and the MTC external interface function entity of the visited network is set to receive the trigger request message, and trigger the roaming MTC device. The present invention solves the problem in the prior art of large amounts of signaling traffic in the home network generated for ensuring the security of the roaming MTC device triggering process, thereby improving the performance of the home network, helping to improve the communication quality of the home network, and enhancing user experience.</p> |
