The invention relates to a bearing arrangement of a crankshaft on a crankcase (10) of a reciprocating-piston internal combustion engine, wherein the crankshaft is mounted on the crankcase by means of at least one roller bearing with the interposition of at least one bearing element (12), which is fixed to the crankcase (10) and at least partially delimits a bearing opening (14) for receiving the crankshaft. The bearing element (12) comprises at least two spaced-apart supporting surfaces (22), by means of which the bearing element (12) is at least indirectly supported on the crankcase (10) and between which the bearing element (12) is set back at least in a partial region (26, 28) from the crankcase (10) while keeping a spacing from the same.
