PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress meandering of a travelling belt without making rollers over which the travelling belt is laid into a crown shape in an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a travelling belt that is laid over a plurality of rollers 3 and driven to travel over the rollers. The rollers 3 each have a flat peripheral surface in the rotation shaft direction; and the coefficient of dynamic friction of both ends R2 is set smaller than the coefficient of dynamic friction of a central part R1 in the rotation shaft direction. |
