PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device capable of performing memory access with high reliability and excellent efficiency, and further to provide a printing material accommodating body and a printer.SOLUTION: An address generating circuit 140 generates an address sequentially varying on the basis of a clock signal CLK in a first mode and, after generating a first address, generates a second address that is non-sequential with respect to the first address in a second mode. A reading-out circuit 130 sequentially reads out data from the address sequentially varying for each one cycle of the clock signal CLK in the first mode. The reading-out circuit 130 reads out the data from the first address in a first-half period of one cycle of the clock signal CLK and reads out the data from the second address in a second-half period subsequent to the first-half period of one cycle of the clock signal CLK in the second mode. |
