PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for tire tread, securing excellent dry-gripping properties and abrasion resistance over a wide temperature range.SOLUTION: There is provided a rubber composition obtained by compounding 50-120 pts.wt. of carbon black, having 100-200 m/g of nitrogen adsorption specific surface area, with 100 pts.wt. of styrene-butadiene rubber composed of 20-60 wt.% of solvent-polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber S-SBR and 80-40 wt.% of emulsion-polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber E-SBR, regulated so that the content of styrene may be 30-38 wt.%, the content of vinyl may be 60-80 wt.%, the glass transition temperature may be from -20 to -5°C, and the weight-average molecular weight may be 1,000,000-1,800,000 in the S-SBR, and the content of styrene may be ≥40 wt.% in the E-SBR. |
