PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic coating apparatus and an electrostatic coating method capable of forming a desired coating pattern and capable of improving deposition efficiency.SOLUTION: An electrostatic coating apparatus 1 includes a rotary atomizing head 22 rotating in a state of being applied with a high voltage for charging and atomizing a coating material, and a shaping air ejection hole 41 formed in such a manner of surrounding the rotary atomizing head 22 and ejecting the shaping air directing the atomized coating material to a direction of an object to be coated, and further includes an air nozzle 21 provided in a center of the rotary atomizing head 22 and having at least either a plurality of air ejection holes 212 forming the coating pattern forming air by ejecting the air or a plurality of air suction holes forming the coating pattern forming air by sucking the air. |
