PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of fabricating an array substrate including a thin film transistor having an organic semiconductor layer which reduces material cost and can increase productivity per hour by simplifying manufacturing processes and reducing manufacturing time.SOLUTION: Provided is a method of fabricating an array substrate for patterning an organic semiconductor layer without damage and for integrating gate electrodes to form a single gate electrode in one layer. The method includes, among others: forming an organic semiconductor layer formed in an island shape in a gap region between source and drain electrodes, and a gate insulating layer which has the same planar shape as and completely overlaps the organic semiconductor layer to form sequentially stacked layers; and forming a first protection layer on the entire display region on the gate insulating layer. Also provided is an array substrate fabricated with said fabricating method. |
