PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing the occurrence of a so-called "carbon trumpet phenomenon" in which molten metal on a back surface of a weld bead is changed into a peroxidative slag state by contact with air when arc welding is performed conventionally to various steels.SOLUTION: Welding is performed after application of a material processed into a coating material state by kneading with the use of water or a volatile organic solvent such as alcohol while using oxide powder without a change in composition even in a heating state such as an aluminum oxide, titanium oxide, or magnesium oxide as a base compound, and moreover, using a material with less gas generated by combustion such as a polyvinyl alcohol or dextrin as an adhesive compound to a back surface or a peripheral part of a weld portion, with respect to a portion in which a so-called carbon trumpet phenomenon in which a part of molten metal is changed into a peroxidative slag state in association with air oxidation occurs, in a back surface or a peripheral part of a weld part of stainless steel or titanium. |
