PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation transmission mechanism capable of driving a plurality of gears in a smooth manner without generating noise even when backlash is removed, and to provide a rotary connector including the rotation transmission mechanism.SOLUTION: At least one of a plurality of gears comprises: a tooth side body 10a which is formed in a ring shape and includes a tooth row 10d on one peripheral surface thereof; and an opposing body 10b which faces the other peripheral surface, opposite to the peripheral surface where the tooth row 10d is formed, of the tooth side body 10a. The tooth side body 10a and the opposing body 10b are arranged coaxially and coupled by a coupling part 10c. A protruding part 10e is formed on the peripheral surface, facing the opposing body 10b, of the tooth side body 10a. The coupling part 10c extends from the protruding part 10e to a peripheral surface, facing the protruding part 10e, of the opposing body 10b. A coupling portion, which is coupled to the tooth body 10a, of the coupling part 10c makes an acute angle with a peripheral surface tangential direction of the tooth side body 10a. |
