PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a data breakage problem resulting from adjacent track interference without lowering device performance.SOLUTION: A magnetic disk controller 3 has a write control part 5, and an alternative control part 6. The write control part 5 controls information writing in each sector in a magnetic disk 2. The alternative control part 6 detects a sector or track having a frequency higher than a predetermined writing frequency on the basis of the number of writing times in the sector or track of the magnetic disk 2 per preset unit time. Then, the alternative control part 6 makes an adjacent track empty by moving information stored in the track having a high writing frequency including the detected sector having a high writing frequency or in an adjacent track adjacent to a track having a high writing frequency being the detected track having a high writing frequency to a track of a preset alternative area. |
