The device has a radio receiver i.e. tuner (112), receiving a radio signal with a frequency over a primary transmitter. A control unit (121) determines that the reception of the radio signal is interfered over the frequency. The control unit determines that the device is present in a tunnel, and another frequency of the radio signal, which is received by a tunnel station at the latter frequency. A digital signal processor (113) determines a quality indicator of the radio signal with the former frequency. A memory unit (124) i.e. RAM, stores the radio signal associated with the transmitter. The control unit is designed as a microprocessor. An independent claim is also included for a method for receiving and reproducing radio signals for broadcast stations.
