3D camera and method for monitoring a room

摘要

The camera (10) has image sensor (14a,14b) that receives image data from region of space (12) and an evaluation unit (22,24) which generates distance image including three-dimensional image data from the image data of image sensor. A lighting unit (100) has light source to illuminate the region of space with an irregular illumination pattern (20). The light source comprises a semiconductor array with several individual emitters, and the micro-optic array comprises non-imaging microoptics. An independent claim is included for method for monitoring space.
