<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transflective type liquid crystal display panel wherein density of a color filter layer in a transmission area and density of the color filter layer in a reflection area can be made different from each other without increasing manufacturing steps. <P>SOLUTION: In the transflective type liquid crystal display panel 10 having an array substrate AR and a color filter substrate CR disposed opposite to each other via a liquid crystal layer 30 and having the transmission area TA and the reflection area RA having a reflection plate R in one pixel, the array substrate is provided with a lower electrode 14 and an upper electrode 21 disposed opposite to each other via an insulating layer for every pixel area on a first transparent substrate 11, the color filter substrate CF is provided with a light shielding layer 26 on a second transparent substrate 25, color filter layers 27R, 27G and 27B of a plurality of colors disposed for every pixel area and a retardation plate 29 formed in the reflection area and the retardation plate 29 is formed between the color filter layers 27R, 27G and 27B and the second transparent substrate 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
