An up-belt or down-belt type sorting equipment for up and down sorting of goods supplied from an upstream process prevents goods from being damaged due to improper biting so as to respond to the high-speed processing operation. The sorting equipment is provided with a belt conveyor main body and a swing-side fore-end portion. The belt conveyor main body has its upstream or downstream side swung by a drive section. The swing-side fore-end portion includes a first roller for supporting a belt, and is attached to the lateral end of the swing side at the belt conveyor main body via an elastic member.
