PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame for a free access floor, facilitating installation and construction while allowing the installation of a heavy facility at the upper part without amplifying vibration from a floor. SOLUTION: A lower frame 38a is provided above posts 23. The lower frame 38a is composed of frame members 37a. Each frame member 37a has holes 55 at both ends, and holes 26 are provided between the holes 55. The hole 55 is a joint part to the post 29 and internally threaded inside. The frame member 37a is of linear shape, and four frame members 37a are joined to form the substantially rectangular lower frame 38a, that is, the frame members 37a are overlapped in a vertically alternate manner with the mutually adjacent frame members 37a. The overlapped frame members 37a are aligned at the holes 55 and joined by the posts 29, that is, the posts 29 are screwed into the holes 55 of the frame members 37a in the overlapped state.
