a first step of dehydrating a mixture containing a hydrocarbon solvent and an alkali metal hydroxide represented by formula: A + OH - , and
a second step of reacting the mixture dehydrated in the first step with a compound represented by formula (2) is useful for producing an active ingredient of a plant disease control agent.
