PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft cover to be easily mounted to and removed from a shaft, and sufficiently suppressing contact with the shaft. SOLUTION: The cover 10 has a plurality of shafts 4 projecting from a base 2 to support a support stand 3, is mounted to the each shaft 4 of a rising/descending device 6 which changes a distance between the base 2 and the support stand 3 by changing projection amounts of each shaft 4 from the base 2. The cover is equipped with a seat part 11 and a fastener 12 for connecting one end 11a and the other end 11b of the seat 11 so that the seat part 11 becomes cylindrical to cover the shaft 4. The seat part 11 is provided with a plurality of wires 13 aligned at equal intervals so as to make the seat part 11 like a bellows when it becomes cylindrical. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
