PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate a load in case that a storage device performs a copy operation and prevent performance deterioration as the whole storage device. SOLUTION: When a write request to Src and Dest occurs after completion of a logic copy to a copy destination Dest from a copy source Src, the storage device records a renewal part of data. If a re-copy request is issued from a host device, the storage device copies only the data of the recorded renewal part to Dest from Src, and clears the renewal part registered so far, and starts registration again.
