PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human photo aged skin model which is useful for evaluating cosmetics or the like in terms of anti-photoaging or improving effects, and to provide an animal model and a method for producing them. SOLUTION: The method for making the human photo aged skin model is performed by continuously irradiating UV rays, having wavelengths B of 40 to 100 mJ/cm<SP>2</SP>, on the transplanted skin of an immunodeficient non-human animal transplanted with the human skin, for 6 weeks or longer.
