<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data collection device capable of halting the processing for accessing a recording medium to prevent data damage and loss and safely continuing data writing by backup means, even if a power supply is disconnected during data writing. <P>SOLUTION: The data collection device includes a constant-voltage circuit U1 that is connected to a power supply Vin and supplies circuit power Vcc; and a capacitor C1 that is charged, when the power supply is ON and supplies a charge voltage Vbat so as to allow the constant-voltage circuit to supply the circuit power when the power supply is OFF. Since a CPU 2 is allowed to perform data collection, while the capacitor is charged when power is supplied by the power supply and continue to be operated by a backup power supply at a capacitor charging voltage, when the power supply is OFF, logical damage to and loss of data in a recording medium is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
