<p>The coupling has a tensioning unit (3) i.e. grip clutch, for bracing a clamping strap (2) i.e. continuous, tubular preformed strap. A pot-shaped lid (6) is provided at an end (12) of the coupling. The end of the coupling is inserted into the clamping strap and fixed by using the tensioning unit. Another end (11) of the coupling is couplable to a pipe (13). A tubular sealing element (5) made of resilient material i.e. rubber, is provided in the clamping strap and covers entire inside wall of the clamping strap.</p> |
